Widgets come to the desktop. Next Event, Agenda, Month and Up Next, each taking a theme of its own. Up Next carries tomorrow and its forecast; reminders can be ticked off and restored without opening the app; and tapping an event or a day opens the matching place in InstaCal rather than just launching it.
Reminders finally behave the way they read. One due on a day with no time of day can alert, with its own settings for which day and what time. Ticking one off leaves it in the list struck through, instead of vanishing the evidence that you did it.
And a second time zone sits beside each event time, for the calls that cross one.

Focused Reminders complete tasks directly from the Home Screen, while expanded small-through-extra-large layouts make the same intelligence useful on iPhone and iPad.

Apple Watch now moves from knowing to doing. Right Now, Today, Tasks and Week Pulse lead with the schedule context that matters, then surface Join, Directions, Complete, Snooze, RSVP or Quick Add when that is the useful next move.
Seven focused complications, a seven-day cache and an offline action queue keep the experience useful away from the phone without pretending stale information is current.

InstaCal could already open a video link — now it can create one. Add a Google Meet or Teams call while you make or edit an event, then open it from the event's video card with one Join button and the shareable address directly beneath it.
