Settings finds what you are looking for.
Type any word into Settings search, including a word from an explanation, and go straight to that setting. Settings is reorganized so everything has one obvious home, heat maps take your own colors, and new events appear the moment you save.

- Heat maps in your colors: choose Custom under Appearance › Heat Map Colors and give each number of events its own color, from 2 to 15 levels. Quarter, Year and the Up Next calendar widget's heat map all follow it.Mac
- Search Settings: type any word into the field at the top of the sidebar, whether it's a setting's name, an option, or a word from the explanation under it, and pick a match to go straight to that setting, scrolled into view and briefly highlighted.Mac
- Settings, reorganized: the sidebar is grouped, a new Calendar Views pane holds each view's options, General gains Date & Time, and Events gathers travel time, link handling and availability, so every setting has one obvious home.Mac
- Search with the sidebar hidden: a magnifier in the calendar window's toolbar (or Command-F) opens search over your agenda. Click an event to jump to it, or tick off a reminder right in the results.Mac
- New events appear the moment you click Save, instead of after the calendar service confirms the write and every calendar refreshes.Mac
- The Up Next bubble is now off until you turn it on in Appearance.Mac
