- Quick Add understands repeats. Type "Run payroll every Monday at 9am" and get a weekly series, with the repeat taken out of the title. Daily, weekly, every other week, monthly and yearly all work, in every language InstaCal speaks.Mac
- Quick Add makes tasks and countdowns too. Type "task draft proposal tomorrow" or "wedding countdown until Saturday" and the right kind is ready to save, or pick Event, Reminder, Task or Countdown yourself from the switch in the form.Mac
- The agenda highlights what's happening now. An event under way sits on a soft card in its calendar's color, with a line that fills as it runs and how long is left. Let the whole row fill instead, include all-day and multi-day events, and have the Up Next bubble move straight on to what's next. Prefer a single day? Show only the selected day keeps the agenda to today, or the day you pick.Mac
- Month view fits more of your day. Each day shows an event or two more, titles keep their calendar's true color, and "+N more" opens the whole day in a popover. Click an event and the agenda follows it to its day, with the event lit while its details are open. Past events dim like they do in the agenda, today's date has a roomier circle, and weather in day headers keeps its temperatures even in narrow columns.Mac
- Add a reminder from the Reminders list. A + beside the filter button opens a new reminder, filed in whichever list you're filtered to, in an editor that now matches the event card. Clear the last reminder and the list celebrates with All Done.Mac
- Move to Calendar reaches every account. Every calendar you can write to is listed, whichever account it belongs to, and repeating events move between Apple, Google, Outlook and CalDAV calendars with their whole schedule intact. A slow sign-in server or one unshared calendar no longer flags a whole account as needing to reconnect.Mac
- Event notes written in Google Calendar show as formatted text with working links instead of raw code. Events with a video call offer both Copy Meeting Link and Copy Event Link.
- The mini calendar's dates are larger and back to regular weight, so today is the one bold date again. Start with the current week keeps upcoming weeks in view instead of the ones already past, and double-clicking a day opens it in the calendar window.Mac
- Plus: events longer than a day read "2 days, 3 hr", all-day bars that carry on past the edge of the view end in a point, clicking a time slot in Day or Week highlights it, calendar feeds with plain http:// links from school and team sites subscribe, and Settings no longer floats over other apps.Mac
- One place to add anything. The + button opens a New Item sheet with an Event, Reminder, Task and Countdown switch, and it picks the kind as you type: "remind me to…", "task…" or "wedding countdown until Saturday" takes you there, with the date, repeat, tags and priority read straight out of what you typed.iOS
