When Itsycal is the right choice
If what you want is a month grid and a glance at today, Itsycal does that beautifully, costs nothing, and has been doing it well for years. Paying for InstaCal to get the same thing would be a waste of $9.99, and we would rather say so here than take the money.
The case for InstaCal starts when the panel becomes somewhere you act rather than only look: creating the event by typing a sentence, answering an invitation, joining the call.
