Does InstaCal work with Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com?
InstaCal signs in to Microsoft accounts through your browser and reads the calendars that account exposes, so Microsoft 365 work and school calendars come through alongside Apple and Google ones.
Can I accept and decline meeting invitations?
Yes — Yes, Maybe or No, from the panel or from the notification banner. You can attach a comment or reply silently, and InstaCal shows what the invitation conflicts with before you answer.
Will Teams links be detected?
Yes. Microsoft Teams is one of the 20+ services InstaCal recognises, and it looks in the event's URL, location and notes to find the link.
Do I need Outlook installed?
No. InstaCal talks to your Microsoft account directly; the Outlook app is not required.
Does InstaCal collect any data?
No. InstaCal contains no analytics and no tracking. Your Google and Microsoft tokens live in your Mac's Keychain, and your events sync directly between your Mac and your calendar provider — there is no server of ours for your data to visit.
