✉️ Invitations and RSVP

MaciPhoneiPad

Create invitations, review attendee status, detect schedule conflicts and reply Yes, Maybe or No with provider options.

Invite people

Open an event on a directly connected Google or Microsoft calendar and add attendees by name or email. Contacts permission enables name and address suggestions. Save the event to let the provider send or update the invitation.

Attendee details show organizer and participant roles plus the response state available from the provider.

Review incoming invitations

Invitations can appear in the agenda, event details, a dedicated invitation list and notifications when enabled. InstaCal checks visible calendars and warns when the proposed time overlaps another busy event.

Reply

Choose Yes, Maybe or No. On supported direct Google and Microsoft accounts, you can include a comment or reply without sending an additional email where the provider allows that option.

A response updates the provider; other devices see it after sync. If an event came only through a read-only or Apple-managed route that does not expose provider reply controls, open it in the source calendar service to respond.

Change a response

Open the invitation again and choose the new state. InstaCal sends the updated response through the connected provider.

Tip: A conflict warning is advisory. It sees calendars currently available and marked visible or relevant; disconnected and hidden schedules may contain conflicts it cannot evaluate.
