👋 Welcome to InstaCal

What InstaCal is, where it runs, what the purchase includes and how this guide is organized.

What InstaCal is

InstaCal is a native calendar for Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. On Mac, its fastest surface is the menu bar panel: click the date or press your global shortcut to see the month, agenda, reminders and invitations without switching away from your work. A full six-view calendar window is included for longer planning sessions.

On iPhone and iPad, InstaCal is a complete calendar rather than a companion. It includes Agenda, Day, Week, Month, Quarter and Year views, event and reminder editors, invitations, weather, widgets and meeting tools. Apple Watch focuses on Now, Next and Later.

Purchase and requirements

One $29 App Store purchase includes every platform. There is no subscription, separate mobile unlock, InstaCal account or paid feature tier.

Where your calendars come from

InstaCal can read the calendars already available through Apple Calendar and Reminders. You can also connect Google and Microsoft 365 directly for faster incremental sync and provider-specific features such as invitation replies.

Note: InstaCal does not replace your calendar provider. Events remain with Apple, Google or Microsoft and continue syncing through those accounts.

How to use this guide

Browse by platform or workflow, or use the search field at the top of every page. The What’s New page tells you when a feature arrived; this guide explains how to use it.
